"Hi there,

As you know, real programmers only code using text-only terminal applications, with no syntax highlighting, in assembly language, using magnets to focus cosmic rays and flip individual transistor bits one by one.

But who wants to be a real programmer? No-one! So why not get in on the interactive, colourful world of Ipython Notebooks. They're all the rage in the Python data science world, and we're happy to say that we now support them on PythonAnywhere, so there's no longer any need to figure out how to install them on your machine, and then install them on your colleagues' machine, and then your boss's machine, and so on.

Predictably, there's a hitch. Notebooks are currently available for paying users only. But, tell you what, if you're keen to try it out, why not drop us an email (you can even reply to this one), tell us what you're up to, and I'm sure we can switch them on for you, at least temporarily.

By way of inspiration, here is a whole list of funky notebooks doing interesting things"
